There are currently three categories of IAHSS membership.

Senior Membership is available to individuals primarily employed in management or supervisory positions within a healthcare facility or individuals with a valid Member obtained CHPA. Individuals may be contract employees with the facility or employed by a proprietary firm. There is no limit as to the number of senior members that may belong to any organization.

Partner Membership is open to individuals who work outside a healthcare facility providing products and/or services or who are not actively employed in a management or supervisory position.

Associate Membership is available to current IAHSS certified healthcare security and safety officers and are not eligible for any other category of membership. Individuals may be contract employees with the facility or employed by a proprietary firm. There is no limit as to the number of associate members that may belong from any organization.
